For the last 40 plus years, Gridor Construction has focused their efforts on the improvement of water and wastewater treatment facilities.

Since 1969, we have completed hundreds of municipal and private projects throughout the upper Midwest. Gridor’s scope of work ranges from one-day repair projects to long-term construction of new facilities.

As a general contractor, we take pride in delivering a complete project to our clients and their design team. There is no step of the construction process, from ground breaking to final start up, that is not examined by our project team to make for an efficient and well-built project.

We successfully perform and are involved in projects requiring: deep excavation, dewatering, sheeting, caisson construction, bypass pumping, site utilities, jacking/boring, heavy concrete work, precast erection, process equipment and process piping installation.

Our success is attributable to the retention of long-term office and field personnel, self-performing work to the greatest extent possible, and utilizing the latest construction techniques and equipment.

Gridor maintains a highly competent and educated estimating and project management staff who are committed to a successful project completion through strong organizational skills, open communication and long-term relationships with our consulting engineers, vendors and subcontractors.

Our field supervisor personnel are dedicated, long term employees who started their careers as tradesman and have worked their way up to supervisory roles. They emphasize training their personnel in productive construction and safety practices on a daily basis.

We look at all projects closely for offering opportunities to the owners which result in cost or time savings while providing the same intended quality and functionality. We are also very cognizant of the owners existing plant operations and work with them in maintaining uninterrupted facility operations.

Our philosophy is to approach all projects as “Design Build”: with the contractor, engineer and owner ALL working together for a successful project completion. Our attention to detail even before construction begins results in the elimination of costly changes later in the project. It is our goal to address issues on paper before they become a crisis, thereby finding workable solutions for all parties with the minimum amount of expense and delay to the project.
